1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Early Signs (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Early Signs Is

Early Signs is a biomarker tracking and health optimization tool. We display your self-reported lab results against optimal reference ranges sourced from published longevity research. We provide educational information, optimization strategies, and AI-powered analysis.

3. What Early Signs Is Not

Early Signs is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or healthcare provider. The information provided — including optimal ranges, expert insights, supplement recommendations, and AI-generated analysis — is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making decisions about your health, medications, supplements, or treatment plans. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by this Service.

4. Your Account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• One person per account (except Family plan, which supports up to 5 profiles)

5. Your Data

You own your health data. We store and process it solely to provide the Service to you. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload data belonging to another person without their explicit consent
• Attempt to access accounts or data belonging to other users
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
• Use the AI chat feature to generate content that could be mistaken for professional medical advice to others

7. Subscriptions and Billing

• Free tier: no payment required, limited features
• Paid tiers (Core, Pro, Family): billed monthly or annually via Stripe
• You can cancel at any time — access continues until the end of your billing period
• Upgrades are prorated and take effect immediately
• Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period
• We will never charge you without your explicit consent
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support

8. AI Health Assistant

The AI Health Assistant (available on Pro and Family plans) uses your biomarker data to provide personalized analysis and suggestions. The AI is powered by Anthropic's Claude model. AI-generated responses are informational only and should not be treated as medical advice. The AI may produce inaccurate information — always verify important health decisions with a qualified professional.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Early Signs and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages arising from health decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of biomarker reference ranges.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
